Celgene Tumbles, but The Market Acts Well 12/10/07

Despite some trouble for Celgene’s stock, the BTK biotech index managed to eke out a small gain to join the other four major indices we use to gauge the health of the overall market and finish in positive territory by the time the close rolled around.

And, based on the action we have seen in these five indices over the past two weeks, our optimism is growing that the levels of fear we saw a few weeks ago may finally be subsiding.

While the Fed’s actions later this week may change the outlook for stocks yet again, our current opinion is that it is still wiser to buy stocks than sell them, and thus we are encouraging subscribers to continue putting the capital we raised earlier this year back to work as we head into 2008, with particular focus on those core stocks that are trading under their buy limits and exhibiting reasonable relative strength.
